Where are you from and what did you do before joining Rimagine?
Working in various agencies in Shanghai. My job was usually to be the executive retoucher and designer.

What’s your job and how does a normal day look like?
I am “creative retoucher/art director which means I retouch our most challenging retouching pieces.  I also come up with new concepts if clients need our input!

What do you like about your job ?
I love it very much, because it makes me happy and my life is so rich and colorful. It’s just a pleasure to work as a retoucher.

Who do you work with the most in the company?
Art director and creative retouching. Most of my work is to preliminary planning for shooting, other is do the creative retouching, help the clients to show the best part of the products.

What is it like to work at Rimagine?
To use the limited resources on hand to create an excellent output.

What is important to be a good retoucher ?
Hard work, creativity, resourcefulness und persistency.

Which projects do you enjoy working on the most?
All projects which include creative working.

What’s your hobby or what do you enjoy doing in your freetime?
DJ

What do you like about Shanghai?
The general flourishing feeling, the convenient traffic and the beautiful night view of the city.

What is your favorite place in China and why?
Lhasa. Because it has unique folklore, customs and culture.

Which people or artists inspire you?
Van Gogh.

What are important skills for your job?
My skill for using design software and the knowledge of the aesthetic’s side.

If you could master one skill, what would that be?
Photography

What is the most unforgettable thing happened in your life?
When I left China and went abroad to New Zealand to study.

Who do you admire? Why?
Libo Zhou. He is a talk show genius. His lifetime of frustrations has passed, he has his own style in art showing. And now he is a successful man.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Being with my girlfriend.
